Should I Be Concerned For Having Bleeding And Big Cloths Of Blood During Depo Shot?

I have been on the depo shot for a few months now an I'm getting off of it now an I've noticed that 3days ago I had my period for about 30minutes an that was it. Well yesterday I noticed when I went to the bathroom there was big globs of blood in the toilet. Well today it was doing the same thing. An I was wondering if this is because of the shoots.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Irregular or abnormal bleeding can occur when discontinuing hormonal contraception.
This is likely the reason for the abnormal vaginal bleeding you are experiencing on discontinuing the depo provera.

It may take 2 to 3 cycles for your period to return to how it was prior to the use of the contraception.

If you remain concerned then you should consider visiting your doctor for an evaluation.

I hope this helps
