Should I Be Concerned For Swelling On Foot?

I havent had any trauma to my foot but tonight I noticed when I got up my foot hurt to put pressue on it. Then noticed my dorsal metetarsal artery looked swollen and sticking out. any answers, should I be conserned, do I need to go to the Er or can it wait?
