Hi,

As per your query you have symptoms of black scars on the face turning red when medication is applied which is due to increased sensitivity of your skin which is leading to hyperpigmentation. I would suggest you to:
- Take diet rich in vitamin C and antioxidants like Citrus fruits, green leafy vegetables and lots of salads
- Drink plenty of water
- Apply lightening agent like kojic acid
- Use proper sunscreen (spf>30) before going out in the sun so that the scars doesn't get worsen.

If your symptoms still keeps on persisting, i would suggest you to visit dermatologist once and get complete examination done and start treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari, Dentist
