Should I Be Concerned For The Peripheral Region Blurness With Trauma And Dizziness When Struck On The Head With A Ball?
My left temporal region was struck with an indoor soccer ball yesterday afternoon, approx. 24 hrs. ago. I lost consciousness briefly and was very disoriented. Pupils reacted normally and there was no vomiting or bleeding. I had a severe headache following the trauma and dizziness today. What concerns me is that I had a concussion about a year ago and the symptoms are very similar; however, the ball struck very close to my left eye and my vision in the left eye is blurred and doubled. There also seems to be severe pressure behind the eye and my peripheral vision is very blurred. My right eye does not have these symptoms. Taking the recommended dosage of pain relievers (Tylenol) do not touch the symptoms.
Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears to be the concusion, and there is no hemorrhage. I advise you to consult a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a C.T.scan for diagnosis. Hospitalization for few days may be required for recovery. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and and protein rich foods to improve the general health. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
