Should I Be Concerned For The Ringing Sound In Ear And Hearing Loss After Cleaning The Wax?

I had a haircut this afternoon and the hairstylist which does many other things cleaned the wax out of my ears as well. Now I have ringing in my right ear and have a hard time hearing out of it as well. No pain just ringing and a big loss of hearing what would you recommend ? Anything to worry about?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi and thanks for the query,
It is possible that the hairstylist pushed the wax deeper into the canal leading to impaction.
Please consult an ENT specialist to confirm the diagnosis.
If it is indeed impacted then you will need Wax solvents to liquefy the wax which will have to be removed by an ENT.
Do not in future let other people remove your wax, they can damage your canal and ear drum.
Wax need not be removed from the ear.
It keeps falling outside regulalry.
Wax needs to be removed only if it is causing problems like blocked ear and pain.
Regards, dr Kishori.
