Should I Be Concerned With TPO 74, LDL 134 And Cholesterol 238?

All labs for thyroid are in normal range but the TPO is at 74 cholesterol 238 ldl 134 and vitamin D is 5. Normally I weigh 100. I am up to 108. I am very symptomatic and this is why the tests were done. My Dr thinks I am fine. I eat very very healthy and get a lot of exercise. Should I be concerned with these numbers and symptoms? I feel awful and this weight thing can t be explained.

Hello,

Welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern.

As I see from your lab report, Thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPO Ab) is high, its normal range is considered less than 35 IU/mL. You mention that your thyroid hormone analyses are normal. My impression is that it might be the beginning of Hashimoto Thyroiditis, which is characterised by high level of TPO Ab.
Regarding your Vitamine D level, you do not mention the measurement unit, but if it in ng/ml or nmol/l it is considered very low.
Cholesterol level is a bit high because it's normal range is considered below 200 mg/dl, but LDL level can be considered normal.
You say that you are symptomatic, but you do not mention your symptoms, except the weight, in order to help me find a solution.

Hope I helped with my answer.

Take Care,
Dr. Ina Zaimi
