Should I Be Worried About Headache And Swelling After A Fall?

I fell from a bunk bed while I was sleeping and hit my head. It is slightly swollen but I can see and I am not dizzy or anything. I have a slight headache/neck ache but I mostly want to sleep. I am 19 and in college so sleeping a lot in common for me. I have never had an injury like this before, but I am concerned I may have done some serious damage. I am taking ibuprofen for the swelling. Is this enough?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
If you are hit hard on head then it could be a problem. If the symptoms are mild then no problem at all. Symptoms of head injury includes headache, vomiting, giddiness, neck stiffness etc. If you have any of these i think you should visit a doctor. Headache i have mentioned is generalized headache and not the pain in the specific area where you are hit as that would be painful for sometime due to local injury.
