Should I Be Worried About My Chest X-ray Report?

Hi, i had a chest xray after having some tightness around my chest and these are what was found: -Prominence of both hilar regions with lobulated densities suspicious or hilar lymphadenopathy -Mild widening of the superior mediastinum suggesting possible additional mediastinal lymph node enlargement. - the lung fields and pleural spaces are clear What does this mean and should i be worried?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you should get done CT THORAX with contrast.
In your chest x ray bilateral hilum are prominent with widening of superior mediastinum.
This suggest enlargement of lymphnodes in hilar area and superior mediastinum.
Chest x ray will not clearly tell you about these lymphnodes. As bony sternum is overlying it and makes difficult to interpret.
So CT THORAX is needed for better evaluation. This will also give you the idea from where biopsy can be possible.
So CT will give alot of information for diagnosis.
