Should I Be Worried About Swelling And Blue Discoloration On Toe After A Hit?

Hi - a week back - i hurt my leg toe finger - it was paining little till 2 days back - but from yesterday morning its hurting a lot - also outside there is no injury - but what happened was - i hit my toe nail against something hard - so may be it hurt internally - now i see that finger is slightly swollen and i can see some greyish blue color under the toe nail on left side - do u think it is something which needs medical attention immediately?
