Should I Be Worried About The Laceration And Bumps On My Forehead?

My son and I were playing with cold steel swords. He struck the sword and it came back to hit my forehead. I have a two inch laceration I have secured with steri strips. I also have a two to three inch bump below it. Yet, I do not have bruising. Should I be concerned. It has been 24 hours and am still having pain. The pain goes away with advil.

Hi, No need to panic. Depending upon the depth of laceration, you may need a stitch. Otherwise just antiinflammatory drugs / painkiller drugs with famotidine would do good. My sincere suggestion is to consult a general surgeon to assess there depth.
