Should I Be Worried About The Pain Due To Kidney Stones?

I have had numerous stents and lithotripsies for my kidney stones, all on the left side. I had my last stent removed in January and I still have a stone yet to pass. I have had moderate to severe pain, the exact same as when a stone is trying to make its way out. My Urologist has done urine and ultrasounds and says he sees nothing that should be causing me pain. I am really in a lot of pain. Should I get a second opinion? Or go by what he is saying? I am almost at the point where I sometimes need to go to the ER again.
