Should I Be Worried For Bump Near Ear Of A Kid?

Hello my 20 month son hit his head running into a door frame he misjudged the door as it was his bedtime. He cried especially as we put a cold compress on the bump by his ear. The bump is black looking. He has slept 10 mins after the accident and is still asleep . He is snoring has not been sick . Should I wake him up to see if he is ok and take him to doc

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

I am not worried about the bump. but the sleeping may not be a good sign, please wake him up and test his alertness and if his alertness is good and he does not develop vomiting, you have nothing to worry!
Take care
