Should I Be Worried If I Have A Scar Tissue On My Tonsils And Salivary Glands?

I was told I had scar tissue on my tonsils and salivary glands many months ago on the right side of my mouth and throat. Nothing has been done about it since finding out I was pregnant. I have significant pain in my gums and lost a tooth. My throat also seems harder to swallow on that side because it seems the tissue in my throat is soft. I also have altered taste. Do Ineed to worry about cancer or does normal obsruction of the glands cause these problems. If cancer is a possibility is there treatment while pregnant

Hello

Please dont worry as this is unlikely to be a cancer, however i still think you need to take some antibiotics since your problem is worsening ( some antibiotics can be given in pregnancy ). Please start gargling with hexidine mouth wash 3-4 times a day and meet your doctor for treatment.
Thanks
