Should I Consider Uterus Removal For Pcos, Endometriosis And Hpv?
Endometriosis? I was told that I might be suffering from that along with psos nd not to mention hpv.... I was told to consider having my uterus removed, but I really want a bby... I just started my menstrual yesterday for the first time in eight months.... I m not sure if I should b excited or concerned..
Hi, PCOD is a condition that is medically treated and does not need removal of the uterus; in fact, it can cause infertility and conception is almost always possible with treatment. Endometriosis is managed either medically or surgically based on the extent of the disease and the symptoms; hysterectomy is the last resort. Presence of HPV infection warrants a pap smear followed by colposcopy study to look for any abnormal cell growth in the cervix and if so, further management is planned according to the extent of the lesion. While low level lesions can be medically managed, high level lesions need surgical procedures like LEEP, Conisation etc. You can upload your reports for further queries. Hope this helps.
