Should I Consult Doctor For The Cut At The Side Of The Eye?

Hi, my name is Veronique. I just hit the side of my head at work about 2 hours ago and cut the side of my eye, I almost blacked out and felt sick. I was also a little confused and cried instantly. Should I contact a doctor or just wait it out till tomorrow?

Hi,
I suggest you take paracetamol and ibuprofen if you have pain. Rest if possible. At present, you do not need to see a doctor providing the cut to your eye has stopped bleeding and is only superficial.
If you become unusually sleepy, start vomiting, develop blurred vision or a severe headache then go to the ER to be checked.
Regards,
Dr K A Pottinger,
