Should I Continue To Monitor The Size Of The Ovarian Cyst?

I have a 4 cm septated ovarian cyst. It was a 2 cm simple cyst 4 days ago, confirmed by a CT and US. The pain 4 days ago was so severe that I had to visit the ER, not typical of me. It is still very painful. Should I continue to monitor the size of the cyst or seek treatment from my GYN? What size is this type of cyst operable? HX: 36 Y Tubal ligation Endometrial ablation LEEP Procedure Thank you.

Hi, I think you should consult a gynecologist. Septated cyst should be operated. It can be benign tumour. So, discuss with your doctor regarding this. It can be removed laparascopicaly. Do a CA125 blood test. Hope I have answered your question.
