Should I Continue With Birth Control Pills If I'm Bleeding?

I just had surgery and they had me on a bunch of different prescriptions I'm now bleeding in the middle of my birth control pill pack. It is a full cycle not just spotting..... Should I continue with the rest of my pills or stop and start again once the cycle is complete

Hello,

You can stop the current cycle and start again. If the bleeding is profuse you can take Tranexemic acid or Ethamsylate tablets to stop the severity of bleeding. Include more iron rich foods like green leafy vegetables in your diet. If symptoms are severe you can consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
