Should I Expect Complications While Pregnancy Due To Bronchial Asthma? Recommend Medication

sir,
my wife is about 7 weeks pregnant and has been suffering from bronchial asthma with serum ige count >2500 after being shifted to haldia (west bengal) which is moisture ladden. should i continue for pregnancy. in between she has got medications that are not recommended during pregnancy as we were not having pregnancy test at that time. should we continue with pregnancy or discontinue .

Hi,
Asthma can usually be well controlled during pregnancy with the appropriate medications. If you have stopped any medications that are not recommended during pregnancy then this would be safest.
I suggest you consider carrying on with the pregnancy.
