Should I Get A Disability Check Or Not ?

I have Supraventricular tachycardia, SVT for short and I can't really take the hot days because I will pass out very easily and every job I try to get, they tell me that they can't hire me because of my heart problem so do you think I could get a disability check or not ? Thank You

Working in an office was too much for me. When I applied for Disablity (kinda like retirement), I didn't think I'd get it. In fact, when I quit working, I had no intention of applying, until I got the letter of Social Security explaining that I had worked enough to draw. When I applied the lady at the local SS office pretty much told me I'd have to hire a lawyer. (I know she was thinking "But she looks so healthy") I had my cardiologist write a letter explaining my condition. I included it with every application form I mailed to the home office. For months later, I was approved. When I was younger I drew SSI -- disability for poor folks -- and I hated it. In my experience it was much harder to get. My parents were in charge of that fiasco, but it took about 18 months to get approved.
