Should I Get My Ovaries Removed As Well During Hysterectomy If There Is A 40% Chance Of Low Grade Cancer?

I had a benign polyp removed from my uterus and the pathology report showed atypical hyperplasia. My Dr. Recommended a hysterectomy. I am 49 and in good health and physical shape. She there is a 40% chance of low grade cancer. Should I have my ovaries removed as well?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, I would suggest not to take any halfhazard step as long as your uterine problem is concern, it is not the low grade like cancer, this is some what very loose term used, hyperplasia is not the sing of any malignancy, if you do not have any clinical symptoms then why to worry, at the most you can go for second opinion, no need to worry about this, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
