Should I Give My Daughter Omnicortil Forte Steroid When She Has Had A Fever For 8 Days And Prominent Broncho-vascular Markings?

Hello, my daughter is suffering from covid. She has 8 days fever. Her x ray shows prominent broncho vascular markings. Her CRP is 16.369. Dr suggests omnicortil forte for 2.5 ml twice a day for 7 days, follow by 1.5 ml twice a day for 7 days, follow by 1.5 ml once a day for 7 days Should I give steroid for this problem?? This much of dosage is really required?? Pls guide
