Should I Rely On Azithromycin After Being Diagnosed With Chlamydia?

I was diagnosed with chlamydia a week ago and took my two pills of azirhromycin in one dowse as instructed. A day or two later, I got my period, since then my period has been very heavy, I've passed a few blood clots, and it is still here 6 days later when my period is usual light tooderate bleeding and only lasts 4 days. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it the antibiotic clearing the infection?
