Should I See A Doctor For My Round Red Spot On The Back Side Of My Leg?

I have a round red spot a little bigger then a silver dollar on the back inner part of my upper leg. It has been there a few days and hasn't gotten worse or better. Sometimes it feels warm to the touch. It doesn't itch or hurt. What are somethings it cold be and should I see a Dr?

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I would keep a possibility of fungal infection of the groins. This area is specially prone to fungal infections because of the moisture that traps between the body folds thereby encouraging fungal growth.

If I was your treating doctor I would have asked you to use a cream containing a topical antifungal e.g clotrimazole, sertaconazole, luliconazole OR terbinafine, twice daily for 2-4 weeks

An oral antifungal e.g fluconazole once weekly for 4-6 weeks, is also advisable

Once cured, an antifungal dusting powder can used regularly to prevent recurrence.
