Should I See A Doctor For My Hip Pain Radiating To My Ankle After Trying Cartwheels, Or Will Rest With Ice And Heat Suffice?

Hello, I m 50 years old. My granddaughter age 6 was doing cartwheels and I thought I could still do it too, lol well my hip is killing me, if I try to bend over or croutch down I m in tears. I feel it all the way to my ankle. Should I see a doctor or just rest with ice & heat?
