Should I See My Doctor For Persistent Ankle Pain After A Workout, Given My Arthritis From A Gunshot Wound?

I’m having pain in my ankle. I have arthritis in there due to a gunshot wound 15 yrs ago. Last week after a workout it was swollen and tender to the touch. Although the swelling has subsided but the pain has not. Should I make an appointment with my Dr?
