Should I Seek Medical Attention For An Insect Bite?

yes, please... I have a bitten by a insect... I can visibly see the bite mark, around the area is a huge bruise. Also I have been extremely itchy... I had a bite years ago the Dr. has said that this was the way my body fights the infection... Do I need to seek medical attention.

If its a recent bite (within some hours), u might want to take a Cetirizine tablet (10mg if adult) and a painkiller. Apply cold compresses. If you feel the itching is increasing or the symptoms worsen, it would be advisable to get it evaluated by a surgeon.
