Should I Stop Using Cocaine Before A Surgery?

Surgery coming up in 10 days. Clean from (serious) cocaine abuse for 5 days now. So it will be out of my system... Is that ok or should I move it? It s breast augmentation. No lift required. Standard cut under the breast, and implant under the muscle. I just need to know if I should move it back a few weeks or not? I don t want to. The excitment is keeping me clean. But I also know that there s no point if I don t live to see it...

yeah, should stop the cocaine. It causes blood vessels to squeeze. This markedly increases risk of heart disease. It interacts with anaesthetics all over the place. Likely hurts wound healing a bit.

AND it's entirely undetectable certainly by a week of being clean. So, just don't do any. If you're clean two whole weeks. They've done an EKG already. Risk of surgery shouldn't be increased. It's possible but very very unlikely you've got serious heart damage if the pre-op evaluation didn't show it. NOT doing any more cocaine is NOT risky.
