Should I Switch To Placebo Pills From Aviane Or Alesse?

I have been taking Aviane (generic for Alesse) for almost 10 years now. I am a Sunday starter, and this week I should be on my placebo pills. I will be expecting my period around tuesday or wednesday of this week (today is Sunday). Well I made a mistake and accidentally took a hormone pill for today (sunday) when I shouldn't have because I should be on my placebo week. I do not want to continue this and skip my period. Is it ok to just ignore this and then resume the new pack next Monday?? Thanks for any answers!
