Should I Take Deviry Or Duphaston For Irregular Menstruation?

Hi Doctor, It was my first time with my my fiancé. My periods were always irregular due to my weight. And now also they are late. What should I take ? Tab deviry 10mg or duphaston 10mg ? Earlier once my periods were late for 2-3 months deviry didn t work and doctor gave me duphaston.

Hi,

With habit of irregular periods and overweight. You should get investigated to know the cause. Get your Thyroid tests done, insulin resistance test and USG to differentiate between thyroid problem or PCOD. Once cause is known specific medicines can be given to control and get the problem cured with expert opinion of a gynecologist / endocrinologist.
