Should I Take Isotretinoin Instead Of Ampicilin For Severe Cystic Acne?

My 16 yr old daughter has severe cystic acne- she sees a derm and has been on ampicilin (allergic to others) for a year with good success. However the md said one year is enough, and now wants to try isotretinoin. I am wondering about the residual effects once she is off it. Is it totally eliminated from the body after a while?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your worry, the acne is time related and age related problem and the right treatment with the right dose gives very good results, no residual part of acne will remain there, every thing will be fine in very nice way, have nice day.
