Should I Take My 14-year-old Son Stung By A Wasp To The Hospital?
My son is 14 and got stung by wasp on his hand several times. He hasn t swollen up past the joint but has developed a rash under his arms and on his neck and face. It appears that this possibly unrelated to the sting on the hand and more likely to be mosquitos. I gave him benadryl. how can i know if i shoulg go to the hospital
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if it is the suspected insect bite then condition need to be kept under observation for any changes and if this turns into anything serious then it is better to see the ER, some time it may not be insect bite but it could be just allergic condition and then antihistamine can be used for that and it is nothing to worry then hope this information helps.
