Should I Take Pain Killer For My Ear Ache?

My doctor says I have catarrh of the middle ear. I have dull ear ache with sharp needle like pain shooting through ear and side of head some of the time. He gave me a nasal spray Triofan to help but ear ache is persistent. Should I also take some painkillers?

Thanks for posting your problem to HCM.
After going through your history, I would suggest you to visit and ENT specialist for proper examination and treatment.
Meanwhile, you can take a painkiller for relief from pain. I would recommend you to take Flozen AA 2-3 times a day till you visit a specialist.
Hope my answer will help you.
