Should I Treat The Kid With High Fever With Medication Or Let The Body Fight The Infection?

My 4 year old has a fever of 103. He vomited last night around 6:00 and has not done so again. He had a slight fever last night 99 and none all day today. He currently has the 103. He just mentioned that his eyes were burning. should I give him a fever reducing med or let his body fight the infection?

thanks for your query at hcm.

A temperature of 103 f is very high grade fever fro children. Give fever reducing immediately after consulting pediatrician, till the time you consult doctor do tapid sponging with water until fever comes down.
Such high grade fever in child of this age can lead to seizure. So immediately give child medical attention.
