Hello,

Since your symptoms are not responding to the antibiotics and medicines you have been taking, it is very concerning. Go to the ER without wasting any time as the infection seems to be too severe for oral medication. You need urgent medical aid as developing vision problems are indicative of an emergency. You will have to get all the required tests done. You need, IV antibiotics, medications and rest. This is not the time to stay at home. Go to ER urgently before symptoms worsen.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Nupur K., General & Family Physician
