Should I Wait For A Pus Filled Cyst On The Scalp To Cure On Its Own?

I have a cyst on my scalp in the middle of my head. Last night I took a needle and opened it up enough to get pus an blood out of it. It filled up within 1 hour. 9 hours later my forehead is red and swollen and the cyst is very painful. No fever. Should I wait until tomorrow to see my doctor?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having sebaceous cyst and trying to open and drain the pus aggravated the condition brought cellulitis and swelling.
Take one anti-inflammatory tablet and one antibiotic tablet if you have.
Consult your doctor and go for proper treatment.
Apply antibiotic cream.
Ok and take care.
