Should I Worry About Groin Pain And Swollen Lymph Nodes?

Hi, I have been having pain in my groin for the past week now. I can feel one or two lymphnodes but dont know if they are swollen as such. The pain also seems to be around my pelvis aswell, it is all very tender to touch. Could this be something to worry about?

Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
A groin lump is localized swelling in the groin area (where the upper leg meets the lower abdomen). It may be firm or soft, tender or not painful at all.
Most common causes of swollen groin lymph nodes are
Infections in the legs
Injury trauma to the groin area
Allergic reaction
Swollen lymph glands in the groin area
STIs like genital herpes, chlamydia, and gonorrhea
Harmless (benign) cyst
Hernia
Lipomas
Cancer
These are the reasons which may lead to present condition and you need complete evaluation to find out the cause, so you requires the expert opinion from a dermatologist.
Thank you.
