Should I Worry About Low Hemoglobin Level While Suffering From Splenic Marginal Zone B Cell Lymphoma?

I have 4th stage splenic marginal zone B cell lymphoma. I had 6 rituxin treatments and am scheduled for a treatment every two months for a year. About to have a ct scan of abdomen and pelvic region. Should I ask for a splenectomy? Hemoglobin is low as is Ldh high, curious also about my longevity.

hello dear. It is a slow growing disease so survival will be prolong and you need not to worry. Moreover, if you continuously have low Hemoglobin , platelet counts, then it shows rituxan is not working. You can then go for some other chemo or splenectomy.
Hope that is clear
Regards
