Should I Worry About The Blood Spotted Phlegm And Enlarged Tonsils After Taking Doxcycline For Bullous Pemphigoid?

I have been diagnosed with Bullous Pemphigoid in October 2014. My doctor has prescribed Doxcycline 100 mg/day and Hydroxyz HCL 25 as needed to control the itch. Since then, my tonsils have been enlarged, and in the AM my throat is dry and I often cough up white mucuos which is spotted with blood. I have an appointment with an ENT specialist next month, but I do worry about the evidence of blood and that it is hard for me to swallow.

hello.. dont worry, there may be some erosion's/ulcers in your throat because of the bullous and these may the cause for blood spotting, these will settle when your bullous is controlled. relax. thanks
