Should I Worry About Watery Eyes With A Little Blood Shot In Right Eye For The Child ?

My son is 23 months. The past few days his eyes have been watering and this evening his right eye has gone a little bloodshot (this is on the outer white part of his eyeball) and in the center where it is bloodshot is a little white pimple/spot. I immediately thought that it was puss/discharge but it is not. Should I be worried.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
It appears this is allergic conjunctivitis. Anti-allergic drop, preferably nonsteroidal like Cromal will give relief. If it does not give relief, then mild steroidal drop like Pyrimon will immediately clear redness. Meanwhile, a check by an ophthalmologist is recommended.
