Should Miralax Be Taken For A Life Time To Remove Feces Regularly?
I have pain on my right side below the rib cage. I had an X-ray and it shows that I have feces sitting in the colon. I have been put on Miralax. Really, that is suppose to move the feces out? I was prescribed to take it 3/4 times a day. I don t mind, if it works, but will my colon get used to using something all the time?

Miralax is a laxative used to smoothen your bowel. I think that you had a loaded colon which will be cleared with Miralax. If you have regular constipation you can take the drug at the bedtime regularly. If you don’t have the symptoms no need to take on a routine basis. Have healthy diet with finer rich foods.
