Should Protopic Be Used For Burnt Skin After Laser Hair Removal?

I was burned on my legs about three weeks ago after laser hair removal with the lightsheer laser. My skin was too tan and should not have been treated. The ar a at first looked like hyper pigmentation but now it more resembles scabs. Most of the area has peeled off and revealed white/very light pink skin. Currently I am using skin medica recovery serum and retin-a. And aquaphor. Should I use protopic or elidel? I ve also read and about ginger help repigment. Any idea on how long this will take to heal and what I should and shouldn t be doing. I m avoiding the sun as well.

Please do not use retinoic acid or serum as you have developed a laser burn. You can apply a mid potency steroid l;ike Mometasone furoate ( Momate ) twice daily after gentle cleansing with a neutral cleanser like cetaphil. protopic or elidel is best avoided at this stage as it can increase irritation
