Should Udimarin Forte And Evion Be Continued For The Treatment Of Fatty Liver?

Good Morning Dr. , I am having fatty liver, SGOT: 39units/l, SGPT: 70units/l; Even after Fibroscan, the IRFI value has arrived to the range of 1.40 -to-1.64m/sec. The impression is Mild Hepatoc Fibrosis. I have visited Dr. who has prescribed me 1) Udimarin Forte (Ursodeoxycholic Acid 450mg) and Evion 400. Pls. suggest me if I should continue the medicine or suggest any medical guidance. Kind Regards-Jp Biswas; Email ID: YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Ursodeoxycholic acid will help in dissolving cholesterol in bile. Vitamin E helps as an antioxidant to fight in fatty liver.

So both these medication is to be prescribed and helpful in fatty liver. You can continue with these medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
