Should A Broken Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb In A Drawer Cause Concern?

I recently noticed that I had a broken Compact fluorescent light bulb in a drawer in my bedroom and I didn t know about it. I don t know how long its been there and I know that they contain some levels of mercury but I don t know how much. Should I go to a doctor or a hospital to be check for poisoning? I m not sure what to do.

Hello dear,welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
This will cause any trouble only if there was significant exposure to mucus membrane(like oral mucosa,eyes etc) or broken skin.Contact with intact skin need not be worried much.If you are quite aware,you can see a doctor and get your blood mercury level checked.
