Should A Macular Injection Necessarily Be Followed By Brief Blindness Or Red Eye?

Should one experience a macular injection? Should one experience a brief flooding followed by brief blindness? If one does not have such an experience, is it possible the injection was not really given? Also a bloody eye for a week or so afterwards seems to be a good sign an injection was really given.

Hello,
It seems from the history that you have underwent intravitreal injection for some macular problem. It is not normal to experience brief flooding and brief blindness. Bloody eye following injection indicates complication of intravitreal injection in the form of vitreous hemorrhage.
Thank you
