Should A Swelling After A Hit From Baseball Bat Require Medical Attention?

Hit by a baseball bat in the calf and now it's swollen. I can hardly put any weight on my left leg now. Any advice on what I should do, and what could be causing the pain, or if anything is broken or popped? When I sit without movement the pain is much lower but still hurts, like a 4 of 10. With weight on my left leg the pain is an 8 or 9. Please let me know, thank you.
