Should All The BP Medication Be Taken Together Before A Surgery?
my doctor said i need to take all of my blood pressure pills at the same time before my surgery and these are losartan potassium 100 mg metoprolol tartrate 25 mg and amlodipine besylate 5 mg please advise if this is ok. my surgery is at 7:30 am and they told me to take it at 6:00 am.
This should not cause any problems for you since it is medication that you normally use.
Your blood pressure would be monitored during the course of your surgical procedure and if it is low (if this is your concern), treatment would be initiated.
I hope this helps
