Should Antibiotics Be Taken Before Undergoing Cystolithopaxy?

I had a anterior hip replace ment this past January.....Next Monday I am scheduled for a Cystolithopaxy/ PVP ....Will I need to take antibiotics before this procedure ? I underdstand that antibiotics should be taken before dental work.....Is this the same for the bladder stone removal ? thank you john kraemer

No, You won't need antibiotics before. Antibiotics are given as a prophylaxis after the procedure (to prevent infections).
