Should Birth Control Pills Be Continued?

Hi! I m currently on a low dosage birth control and am traveling through Europe. I ve been exposed to significantly more cigarette smoke if that makes a difference. But I received my period about a week early. It also was not very much blood. It seemed to be more light brown discharge in addition to a little bit of blood for about 2-4 days. I just wanted to make sure this is normal. Should I just continue my birth control regularly? Or should I skip the blank pills and continue straight to the new pack?

Hello,

I think you can start a new pack the first day of period.
It is not much common that period can come early while in birth control. Probably you may need to take normal dosage contraception pills rather than low dosage contraception pills.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you all the best.
