Should Cold And Cough Post Fever Be Treated With Antibiotics?

My daughter had fever and after giving paracetamol with regular interval and check with thermometer for 3 days, now she has no fever but got cold and cough . do she need a antibiotic ?. cough and running nose is increasing her irritation and because of cough sometimes she is vomiting also. Please suggest any medicine.

Hello! I think this is a upper breathing ways inflammation after the flu. In this condition, I don't recommend antibiotics. I recommend you Sinarest for your daughter (i can't tell you the dosage because i don't know her age) She has to take Sinarest no longer than 7 days. If the symptoms persist or she has fever again, she has to see a doctor. I wish you all the best!
