good day sir. im jhun.. i'm worried about the seemingly cystic acne on the upper between part of my chest. and it has pus and blood. i dont know what's going with my skin, also there are a lot of big acne on my neck. what kind of disease possibly is this.. im totally worried..

It presents with pus filled nodules and cysts on the neck, chest, back and arms with or without the face being involved. The other possibility is folliculitis/ furunculosis. This is a bacterial infection of the hair follicles and presents with acute pain and redness around the boils. Considering that you have acne, you will benefit from taking oral Doxycycline or Azithromycin pulses for 6-8 weeks. You may also need oral isotretinoin. This has to be prescribed by a dermatologist and has to be strictly monitored for side effects. You could apply a gel containing clindamycin in the morning and 5% benzoyl peroxide at bedtime. Have a healthy diet with 8 glasses of water daily. Avoid foods which are fried and rich in sugar. Hope this helps you. Take care.
